Joseph Morris is a writer & director working across narrative film, television, and commercial filmmaking.
Over the past decade Joseph has built his career directing commercial, branded, music video, and narrative projects, developing a body of work grounded in performance, character, and cinematic storytelling.
His latest narrative short, Closer Than a Brother, explores grief, friendship, and the complicated ways men confront pain. The film has screened on the festival circuit and received recognition for both directing and storytelling.
Joseph has continued expanding his narrative work across film and television, including directing and co-writing the limited series Questioning Jesus. Alongside his narrative projects, he maintains an active commercial directing career primarily working with agencies across the southeast.
Now focused increasingly on narrative filmmaking, Joseph is developing feature projects while pursuing opportunities to direct episodic television.
He is based in the Southeast and works throughout the United States.
